2010-2011 Kindergarten Registration Dates Announced

Parents wishing to register their child for Kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school year will be able to do so on Thursday, February 4th and Tuesday, February 9th at both Hartville and Uniontown Elementary Schools. Registration will be held in conjunction with parent?teacher conferences from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Prospective Kindergarten students should be five years of age on or before August 1st of 2010 to be eligible to enroll, per the Lake School District Board of Education policy. Students should be enrolled at the school which they will attend. Hartville Elementary is located at 245 Belle Street, Hartville, and Uniontown Elementary is located at 13244 Cleveland Avenue, Uniontown. Parents should bring the child’s official birth certificate, immunization records, social security number, custody papers (if applicable), and three proofs of residency, such as a copy of a utility bill, with them to registration.

In an effort to speed up the on-site process, parents may download forms from the district website www.lakelocal.org “buildings” link and fill out prior to arrival at registration.
